Storage For Braces

How do fellow members of the LL store their braces when not in use?

Currently I'm using a hanger.

It works, but I was wondering if I'd be better folding them in a drawer?

Best Regards,

Never take them off the trousers....braces for every pair of trousers.

So do I, but it´s easy for me since currently I only have 2 pairs (dinner suit trousers) that are kept in place by braces. A few other braces are in the back of a drawer with some odd belts. No need for special storage.

Cufflink, Check out "A Suitable Wardrobe" by Will, also a LL member. Search under "braces". There was a post on October 25,2009 that will interest you.

Gentlemen
To add my 2 penny's to your conversation, what I use is a special designed white coated epoxy hanger that was originally desigend to hold ties; on 2 vertical rows with brances to the left & right of each vertical trunk with upturns at the end to prevent slippage. I hang each of the color classes of braces that I have (solids, stripped, pastels, commemorative & special occasion ones doubled up (folded over to prevent excessive sagging) centering them to balance the weight pull by gravity (over time) so as not to stretch their material make up specifically the ones made of linen material. Never hang them by their leather tabs. Thats what I do any way for what that was worth. Hope that was insightful.

I have a several methods.. as i have quite a few pairs of braces.. Firstly.. all my trousers and suits already have a pair of braces with them.. and as for the "spares" I ise a tie rack on the back of my wardrobe doors.. should i need to change the braces on a particular pair of trousers..
i have recently been quite enjoying matching braces with socks as i have a new large amount of quite bold Pantherella and Scott Nichol socks...

A drawer is fine.

Braces do not need to be hung.

I place mine in a couple of shirt boxes on a shelf in my closet. Gift boxes tend to be sturdy. One is for blue, and the other is for all other colors.
