Angled cuffs?

Any of the gentlemen here prefer their cuffed trouser bottoms slightly angled?  I have my more recent trousers finished with just a shimmer on touching the shoes, in contrast to a slight break on older pairs, but still straight.  Although in Apparel Arts illustrations this looks good, on me something about more shoe heel showing makes me wonder if a bit of an angle may look better, but I am not sure if that is best left to formal or dinner suit uncuffed trousers.

PS  On a different note, anybody seen and handled J&J Minnis' new Fresco II book? (I read about it on ASW).

Best regards,

When possible I get this (not exaggerated, but some).

That way you can have only a slight break in front while not leaving your socks out in view all day. A good tailor will be able to do this even with cuffs.

Yes, cuffs on a slant for me, too, please.

Thank you Concordia and Costi. I always appreciate your views and advice. I'll be angling for angles.
