A decent, old-fashiend paisley tie?

Good Lord but I'm having a devil of a time finding the sort of old-fashioned, quality silk paisley ties that used to be ubiquitous!

I don't mean anything in garish colors, textured fabric, bold or sharply defined designs.

Any suggestions (especially in London)?

Budd have a great selection of natural madder ties in nice muted colours and paisley designs. They even put examples of them on their website: http://www.buddshirts.co.uk/ties/ The simple designs are close to the original ambi designs from which paisley derives.

Atkinsons, the makers of Royal Irish Poplin, also make many madder, silk motif or other printed ties. They also have finally joined the internet age and have a spiffy new website:

Many thanks, gentlemen and apologies for the late retort on my part.
