Hello all,

I have got a pair saddle-coloured balmoral boots (the LL-balmoral boot made by Carmina). They need to be recoloured in my opinion. I do know that one is to brush vigorously and that the leather should take care of itself due to the natural oils, but I do believe that no amount of brushing will restore their original luster.

I don't know if it is relevant but I am using a brush made of horsehair.

Hi,

I believe you should use a stiffer brush such as boar bristle

and brush hard for say 30 minutes.

I also believe Saphir's cordovan care products are neatsfoot oil based.

If all these failed, you should take a picture

and seek help from Mr. Horween or Carmina directly.
