Interesting...I wonder if Drake's departure will change the fundamental conservative English style of the product?

Drakes seemed to be all about one man and his vision of English quality and tradition....

Possibly, but Michael Hill is still there, and he's been designing the Drakes range for quite some time. That said, this F/W collection does have a lot of slim ties...

Michael Hill may still be there - but Drakes is certainly not! I took a walk down Garrett St earlier this week and all that is left of No15 is a pile of rubble that was being cleared away.

Yes, I know they now have a shop, but it's not the same as popping in to discuss matters and being surrounded by those tubes of silk and those skilled people busily creating those ties.

I feel a piece of old Clerkenwell has been lost.
