Who makes the best dupione suiting?

Scabal has some, but it seems very light to me at 140 grams.

Is there heavier stuff out there? Who has it?

Any feeling as to how it wears?

Thanks,

C

Carl, I can't advise you where best to buy it or give you details on weight, but it does wear very well. Because of the looser weave, it actually breathes, which makes it the only kind of silk that you can wear in summer (in my view).

Draper's has (had) a superb Dupione. I cannot say it really worked for summer. I am of the opinion that it just doesn't breath.
