Do fellow London Loungers often wear the wool tartan tie? For myself, I really like them for the fall and winter.They are usually colorful and rich while seldom gaudy; casual while refined. The cloth seems to take the dye nicely so that there is always interest and depth. No other tie holds a knot as well. In addition to all of the above they cost about one third of the common silk tie. I presently have about five of them and when wearing one I often recieve appreciative comments; perhaps more so than anything else I wear.
