In Barneys NYC the Drake's tie carry the Drake's label.

Drake's makes private label ties for the following:

Oxxford Store

Paul Stuart

Bergdorf

Alan Flusser

Domenico Spano at Saks Fifth Avenue

H. Herzfeld

Private label ties are made for the store and have only the store's label. However, on the "made in England" tab there would be the initials "MD" which represent Michael Drake.

I agree that TA ties are so loud, so Jermyn Street, as to make my ears bleed.

Perhaps our tastes differ, but I have a fair number of T&A ties and the vast majority of them are very subdued.

The reason I have so many is that they're a lot easier to find discounted than Drakes (and given my aptitude for dropping lunch down them, it's less painful when they didn't cost much). I paid about £15 each for a fair number of them at Christmas.
