No, to me, LL is not about bespoke but rather about men’s style.

That is a much more inclusive mission and bespoke wear is one aspect of men’s style.

I would not want to exclude work wear, street wear, casual wear from the discussion here.
Indeed, Alden recently started a thread - Mixed Genre Dressing - which never got any traction here on LL, which I suppose confirms the main focus here on tailors and bespoke.

Still, my view is that there is a vast and interesting world of dress out there other than bespoke. The Japanese brands are particularly interesting. Mixing genres is great.

It would bore me to death to wear bespoke from head to toe everyday.

Who lives that way?

I'm not too concerned about the risk you mention, but I believe whoever wants to wear this style can get it done by a shirtmaker and achieve a satisfactory result

Yes - I have the first fitting with John Kent on Monday, and waiting on Frank’s fitting which is with the mail as we speak. And a few other things which I hope to post in the coming weeks. I’m in China at the moment but will take some pics once I’m back in London! How about you?

In China /HK you have access to some of the finest tailors.
If you are there with any frequency , make it a point to search them out.
You will be very happy.
Not much written here on LL about these Asian tailors; very England/ Euro centric.

Personally, I am having a few items made by an Indian tailor in a non- traditional tailoring center. So far, I see an astonishing talent. The world is filled with tailoring talent if we accept to see it.
