What about the shirts shown below the coats? The cloth is interesting, lots of texture.

It's the Royal monogram he had on quite a few of his things. If you browse through the Sotheby's catalog of his estate, you will see it allover.

I wonder, can we even buy shirting like this today? I think I've seen shirts from the Italian makers, for instance Armani, which have texture and heft like those shown above. Possibly Charvet, with their extensive inventory, offers something similar.

I'm not sure if it is THE royal monogram since there might be a few variants depending on rank?

The brown check jacket on the left is very interesting indeed.
