heavy velvety corduroy

Gentlemen,

I am very interested in acquiring some heavy velvety corduroy (with quite wide wales) for trousers but have no idea where to start searching. I am interested in colors like yellow, pink, red, green etc. I have visited a men’s fabric supplier but he only had the classic colors. To be honest I fell in love with the array of corduroy colors (in one of the Duke of Windsor’s swatch boxes) I saw in a catalogue when the Dukes personal possessions were being auctioned.

Please advice.

You can buy the very best cord direct from the manufacturer, Brisbane and Moss. Take a look at their website. Unfortunately they do not show the nice heavyweight 600 gms (21 ozs) quality on the site, but it does exist and works great with London Lounge tweeds. Send them an email and they will respond.
