Gentleman,

Where on the world can I find the best selection of bowties with the most designs and colors?

Many thanks!

Can't comment on "most" colors and designs but I can report that Budd, at the top of the Picadilly Arcade in London, has some delicious madder silk bowties. DDM

In the U.S., both J.Press and Brooks Brothers have an excellent selection of bowties and the quality is very good. J.Press, in particular, has a variety of shapes and constructions, all of which are good, which means you should have an easy time finding something that you like. I like on occasion the thick stubby bow you get from the Charvet batwing ties, but that is a fairly distinctive look and you may not like it yourself.

Both Press and BB sell online, though I haven't looked to see how extensive their offerings are. Bowtie Club and Beauties (of Vermont) also sell online.

Another good source for bowties is Carrot & Gibbs, Robert Talbott, Ralph Lauren, and Ben Silver.
