The finest outsole and insole leather in England are made by J & FJ Bakers tannery -- 44-(1)01297 552282 (http://www.jfjbaker.co.uk/). I believe they sell direct, but you might also acquire them through a 'grindery'/'finder', who are distributors who supply the shoemaking and repair trades. A London-based grindery: Marshall Coppin Ltd, 44-(0)208-524-1018. In addition to the 'shoulders' that Bakers sells, I believe they sell pre-cut strips of the relevant products that one can use for insoles and outsoles.

I am guessing dye/paints will be sold by grindery suppliers. I do not know anyone in London though? Your help will be much appreciated!!
