Great read - thanks for sharing. I found it amusing that Loro Piana, which is rapidly turning itself into a global brand (e.g., it has massive shops in Tokyo that are frequented by local celebrities and the those that want to be like them) is held up as some paragon of good, "stealthy" taste.
