Hello there,
I saw this week-end a decent suit in Oliver Benjamin shop in London. I quite like the overall shape of the jacket but this is a "half-fused" garment, according to the salesman.
So I was wondering if you had any comments on Oliver Benjamin general quality, and which SR tailor I should go to for the same kind of jacket (pls see picture:narrow lapels, chisel waist, angle pockets)...
Thanks very much
Which one in Savile Row ??
I think that most of the London tailors could make this type of suit.
Some that come to mind are:
1. Dege & Skinner;
2. Huntsman;
3. Richard Anderson;
4. Henry Poole;
5. Davies & Son; and
6. Kilgour.
Of course, to acheive this nipped-in waist you have to have one yourself!

I don't think those lapels look narrow at all, in relation to the shoulders.
To me it looks very like Kilgour's current style.

Except for the lapels (which Kilgour often makes a shade narrower), it is indeed very close to what they're doing now.Anonymous wrote:I don't think those lapels look narrow at all, in relation to the shoulders.
