What in the hell is the horse in the 4 vices cufflinks? I got the other; three drinking, philandering, and gambling. I just can't imagine what the hell a jockey on a horse has to do with vices? Maybe I'm just to thick headed. Please enlighten me.

More gambling. The chase.

Thoroughbred racing? Sport of Kings? The only legal form of wagering prior to casinos in Vegas, Macao, Monte Carlo? Popular activity in sixty-three countries?

And one of the few pursuits that expect spectators to be well turned-out on big days.

Thanks. Gambling again is kind of redundant but; whatever.

Yes indeed the horse and jockey do represent the thoroughbred racing, but here is what else it could represent.

While at the races, you're playing cards, while having a drink with your girlfriend. :D

How does that sound?

Actually, I always thought that The Four Vices traditionally were * :

Smoking
Drinking
Gambling
Women

but thought that the original creator of the four vices links had decided that including Horses and Cards would more aesthetically pleasing than picturing a pipe or cigar instead of one of the two.

* - Unless, of course, you happen to be Buddhist in which case they would be:

The Destruction of Life
Stealing
Sexual Misconduct
Lying

or you were a Jedi:

Fear
Anger
Aggression
Hate

(Please note, I am in NO way advocating the wearing of Star Wars cufflinks or any other such similar items!).

Those Buddhist ones are sins, not vices.
