David, I had two shirts made by Ambrosiana back in 2003. The family was very friendly and they sent the shirts by mail after taking measurements at their premises. Both shirts are still in use, so far no issues at all, not even did a button ever come off. This is quite remarkable as I chose a collar...

Don't know the Foo personally but from what I read in Styleforum most of his disputes originated in a region which Italians north of Rome like to describe as "Africa". You should expect a clash of cultures and trouble if a lawyer from NYC meets businesspeople from there. I guess there is little dang...

Uppercase, as it was a gift I know few details. I assume it was made by some Siberian furrier.

I met her in St. Moritz, maybe you should go there as well. I was lucky to sit in the right chairlift at the right moment.

This one I received as a New Year´s present from my Russian girlfriend. It is completely (including arms) lined with the same fur as the collar. Outside is suede. As it is not suitable for temperatures above -5°C I call it my snowpolocoat.

Today I saw a fabric for a dinner shirt in a Loro Piana book: off-white, 90% cashmere, 10% silk, 180 g. Could a shirt of such a fabric be of any real use? Or would it be more like a disposable item? I think I will have one made up from London Lounge Ivory Linen, which is actually white. I would pref...
