I’ve been around a while. Should I have done otherwise, given that the very point of this thread was to seek recommendations? Please enlighten me.

I went through a phase of sock collection. I now have a better understanding of what lasts. Pantherella whilst comfortable and very well marketed will fall apart soon. Falke last a little longer, it was usually the toe or side that would wear out after a while Happy socks more on the quirky/fun side...
