Mohair trimmings on DJ (concept - no photos)
I'm not quite sure why, but the idea has just occurred to me of a dinner jacket made in the usual way, but with Mohair trimmings instead of the usual satin/grosgrain. Is this as ridiculous as it sounds?

And remember that Tricker's bespoke can be had for about £750. Machine-made, yes, but a damned good value all the same I think, especially since each additional pair is about half that amount.

I prefer an Italian cut of jacket with very little shoulder padding and not too baggy. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good Italian tailor in London. I do not want to pay Rubinacci prices (I read they are higher than Savile Row). And Brioni only alter ready made garments, which doesn't seem go...

Even if James Lock are not true bespoke, can you commission a hat from them that is of a style of your own choosing, or do they only produce the models on display at their site and storefront?
