Thanks for the replies. I'm hoping that my new bespoke pieces will last for 15 plus years. That is one of the reasons I managed to get it past the wife having justified the expense over the amount of years it would last :? I will have some explaining to do if I have to replace one after 4 years :oop...

How long should a bespoke suit last?

If I bought a standard worsted bespoke suit from a good saville row tailor how long should I expect the suit to last in years on the basis it was worn on average once a week for work.

Many thanks

Funny this but from my first post I've been thinking about some Trickers as I've read the quality is very good and for the price it sounds like a very good overall package. Especially as the shoe will be worn as part of a rotation for work. On my next trip to London I will spend some time on Jermyn ...

Yes the only downside is the colour range. Very boring. Best price I've found for no6 knee high £18, expensive but if they last then money well spent?

Thanks for the replies and info. Very interesting about the quality compared to Falke I was looking at the no6 knee high wool/silk and also the airport range and as quality is important then I might stick to Falke until I get a chance to see the Gallo up close on my next trip to London or Milan. My ...

Washing Shirts

Guys, just been reading an article here http://www.customshirt1.com/ASK/laund01.html[url] from Alexander Kabbaz and he recommends using "you'll need a bar of Kirkman Borax or Octagon Bar Soap, available from your local grocer, and a fingernail brush" Does anyone know how I can get the soap or a simi...

Guys, many thanks, some good advice. As is mentioned above I will need to check the fit of the EG first and then decide, although deciding during sale time might make things a little easier

Do I go from Church to EG shoes?

Gentlemen, I am thinking of purchasing a pair of EG shoes. I currently own four pair of Church shoes and a pair of C&J. All of which I'm pleased with and they get rotated daily for work. Because the EG shoes are a step up in price I suppose I'm trying to justify this to myself  how mutch bette...
