Both the JLC and the IWC are great watches - many congrats and much enjoyment to you both wearing them. I have just been through the process of trying to decide on what "keeper" to go for and have plumped for something I did not expect when I started on the journey. I have ordered an Omega Speedmast...

Robert - thanks so much. I think I will go for a folding variety (little children poking around in cupboards when no-one looking......) and disposable to begin with. Would you suggest Kai rather than Feather for the actual razor itself, as well as the blade? Are they better balanced in your opinion....

thankyou robert - i will investigate further..... always slightly put off by the (perhaps incorrect) assumption of extra work/time investment with a single. My wife gets frustrated enough with my routine and 2 toddlers to control!

I would echo Costi's comments regarding SMN shaving cream. I have previously used Trumpers, Taylors etc as well as more available supermarket brands such as King of Shaves. Santa Maria Novelli is a revelation. Yes, it seems more expensive than some alternatives, however the jar is large and mine has...
