Re: Bálint shoes
Early December last year a user on another forum posted that he had just taken delivery of his last pair of Balint shoes and that they would close their shop at the end of the year. I've contacted him about it, but I'm not sure if I'll receive an answer. There was talk that business was slow after t...

Re: Anyone KNOWS about T&A cashmere quality ?
I admit, buying local products is of course an exellent argument. Local avalabity happens to be another one, I don't like buying online but I happen to have two nice stores near me, one stocks Lockie and Laing and the other stocks Fedeli, who also have an online shop, and Fioroni. Re: Fox Brothers White Flannels

It's a nice idea, but the price they're asking is quite steep for MTM, seems you pay for bespoke, and my bespoke tailor doesn't charge more, so I will just order a trouserslength and have them ma...

Re: Burgundy Shoes
These things may be true when the shoes are new, but with age and a good mix of burgundy and black polish, burgundy shoes can develop a very nice patina. I've had some EGs in burgundy antique and they've aged beautifully. If you're not set on EG you could check out C&J's Westfield in burgundy burnis...

Re: Shoes in Vienna
There is quite an amount of bespoke makers in Vienna. You might want to contact fritzl on Styleforum, if you want to know some more names, especially if you're looking for a quick turnaround time. Balint and Scheer are also amongst the better known ones, though their turnaround time is considerably ...
