Re: Minnis' New QZ Book?

From the swatches that I have it seems quite nice; doesn't feel flimsy.

Very tempting...

How many meters?

Good day,

How many meters of fabric is generally required for a suit with an extra pair of trousers (average height/weight)?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Best fabrics for hand tailoring

In regards to Italian fabrics, I see a lot of vivid colors and patterns but few substantial pieces. It would be nice if some of the English mills could get inspired by the Italian use of colors and patterns, or the other way round: that the Italians started to weave fabrics with a body. Maybe a tas...

After seeing the photos of the many beautiful shoes M. Delos made for L'HommeRJ, I finally had my turn recently...

He is a great shoemaker and a very nice guy. Very humble; an all around pleasure. He makes great coffee as well!

Good evening, My experience with Cifonelii was pleasant from the first meeting to the delivery. They are very professional and also quite friendly. My order was placed at...

Re: Cifonelli Tailor

I don't think that i have seen Cifonelli pictured on a client before. If you can, it would be wonderful to see a picture of the suit worn by you.... Are you happy with the result? Thank you for your reply. I'm very happy with the result, but prefer not to post a photo of myself (sorry). There are, ...

Re: John Lobb Paris Bespoke

Hmmm, I have a question. Do you know whether Lobb Paris currently uses a computer to make plastics lasts for its bespoke shoes? If you do know, would you be kind enough to provide the support for the claim? I'm curious since: - you apparently left lobb a number of years ago (8 years ago?), - P. Atie...

Re: John Lobb Paris Bespoke

This is my first time on this site as I was invited by a good friend of mine to offer a word or two on the subject of John Lobb. I've read some of the posts and I'm not where it has left off, but I can tell you for certain that during my time as the General Manager for the flagship store in NYC for...
