Re: Who likes to eat Breakfast out?
Time! But, as Davinci wrote, time is sufficient for those who use it. Soooo true! In a regular week, I try to eat out breakfast one day with my wife, another day with both my wife and daughter, and one other day with my best friend. The rest of the week...business meetings during breakfast time. I s...

Re: Striped Shirts with Striped Ties
I think your belief is accurate if we were in Victorian times. I also think, however, that wearing different kinds of stripes (thicker/wider stripes on the tie and pencil stripes on shirt, for instance, or vice versa) is acceptable nowadays. But others with more knowldge should be able to enlighten ...

Re: Thank you.
Although I'm a newcomer to this forum, I've already learned a few things from you as well. I'm sure others feel the same way. After all, I have a feeling this is one of the reasons this forum exists.

Wedding Attire in Puerto Vallarta
Gentlemen, I will be attending a wedding next October in Puerto Vallarta, and in thinking about it, I'm getting more confused by the minute. The event will be over an entire weekend with different activities throughout the 2 or 3 days. The first night, the civil ceremony and festivities will take pl...

Re: Remember dancing lessons
Whatever one thinks of the celebrity dancing shows on television it does make me envious when the professionals dance together. The ability to move so smoothly and elegantly yet with such control over both oneself and one's partner must transfer to daily life. Sadly, Mrs H has no desire to learn an...

Re: side elastic wingtip shoes
I'm sorry, but there is something fundamentally wrong about this type of shoes. I just don't like the style or the idea of it.

Re: Experience with Norton & Sons
This is only one side of the story. Not necessarily wrong one, but still, only one of two sides. I'm sure that this "spying tailor", whose real name you can easily deduce, views and remembers things differently. Andrey I suppose this is true of any book that purports to tell a story involving numer...

Re: Experience with Norton & Sons
I don't think the cutters at Huntsman are quite as steeped in the Huntsman tradition as Richard Anderson is. Thank you for your input. I think you're right on. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Richard Anderson is more Huntsman than Huntsman. After Shredder's post above, however, I ordered and ...

Re: First Fitting
Thank you Michael. The trousers are the best I have ever worn and I honestly don't want to take them off at the end of a day. We just started discussing the DB so not for a while. His turn around time is about 4 months but for subsequent suits I will need less fittings so maybe a little quicker. I ...

Re: Experience with Norton & Sons
I was seriously considering making the trip from California to comission my first suit to Norton and Sons. This thread has changed my mind. I'm thinking of trying Richard Anderson, instead. Does anyone have any experience with him?
