Nat, well done! You seem comfortable and at home in your suit, which I would rank as job one. There is an ease and balance to the suit - characteristics not to be taken lightly - which you owe to your tailor. Re: Coming to an end of a 15 year relationship ...

Vassilis, I remember your posts over the years. That was a fun ride, wasn't it? All the best to your tailor and you. Your relationship does not end here. I will be visiting my former tailor later this month to celebrate him turning 80.

Re: Patch pockets

Congratulations on the finished article. There is a fantastic balance between coat and wearer. Which brings us to this gem: ..Ive stopped being overly prescriptive in my discussions with my tailor, I shall now leave a lot of the details to him since I know he will do whatever his experience tells hi...

Re: How do you want your tailor to dress?

Perhaps if tailor and customer shared common preferences with regards to dress, interactions would be simpler. It can get tiring fighting for proper sleeve and leg lengths at each meeting. In my case, the person wielding the shears prefers a lengthier solution, and it seems as if he has made a proje...

Re: Bright green jacket

Hristo, have a look at Hainsworth's doeskins. The Intelligence Green could be what you are after. The colors are much brighter in person than what the pictures suggest.
