I don't know if I would say they are the "best". Their stuff is good but it would be like choosing the "best" tailor - there are a lot of factors to consider. I'll provide a list of some things to look for: *Hand: the feel of the cloth in your hand. There can be a lot of personal preference here as ...

Nice to see I'm not alone. My biggest problem regarding these shirts is that I also have a 34.5 sleeve length. Luckily, T M Lewin shirts seem to be slightly small in the neck size so I usually buy 15's from them.

Am I the only one that would consider getting a suit (or at least a waistcoat) out of this fabric?

This brings back memories of my father telling me to fix my shirt. The gig line, as I understand it, is the lining up of the shirt placket, with the trouser-centre/fly. Being left handed, I do wear my belts reverse and simply centre the belt-buckle so the amount of overhang is the same on both sides...

I think you should do it! With the fabric you chose, I think it would be a nice touch.

A lot of extremes in this picture (lapel roll, shirt collar height/tie gap, giant shoes, tiny flower...).

I was told that as well; but I was under the impression that was only for the 7-fold ties.

Adding canvasing to a RTW fused coat

As Wednesday is my day off of class, I decided to alter one of the collars on my navy blazer in lieu of studying. One thing led to another and soon enough I had completely disassembled the coat. While staring at the pieces lying about, I noticed I had some canvas interfacing in the corner of the roo...

That's what a rather well-known clothing afficianado (who I was luck enough to run in to while in London), told me when he recommended me to them.

Their knit ties are lovely; a good thickness and width in the tie. I managed to pick up a few while I was in London, they have fast become some of my favourite 'casual' ties.
