A first bespoke suit, form london: savil row or nearby and who? that is the question. I took the plunge recently and have invested heavily in one tailor, but how does one know if one has gone somewhere good and yet missed somewhere better? One does not have tiem to try everyone so......with you help...

I am looking at max of 18,000 dollars.

I liek the gondolo 5110 and i know where i cna get one new at retail, plus a small discount.

I just wnat to ensure i am getting the right model.

I have decided to invest this year in one. Question is which model and where to get best price and finance package to buy one?

I want a bigg (ish) case as i am a big guy and the gondolo white gold seemed ideal.

slightly cheaper. £2k for a 2 pice suit from stock cloths, though i know they have made suits for 3 times that and more, depends on materials chosen. Superb team though.

i have Cahmeau for both wellingtons and a pair of their walking boots for trekking around, superb comfort and grip.

soho is not the only alternative either. there is goldings in St Albans, wiht a royal Warrant.
Also in Davies St just off Berkley Square is Pogson and Davis: who are superb! With great atmosphere.

I am new to this site so apologise if i am repeating anythiing but as a fan of Pogson & Davis i cna recommend their shirts.

Also worth checking out Goldings of St Albans (got a royal warrant too).

With the sales now on i would def visit Edward Green, i was there yesterday and the sale is on with some good deals, though you may have to stretch to £500 for 2 pairs. Chruchs can always be a safe bet and oliver Sweeny for a more modern look is around that money too.

Pogson and Davis, of which i am an open fan, will also do bespoke ties.
