They do accept cheques but I dont think this would work for anyone outside the UK? I've never had a chequebook  so I'm not sure how they work...

Thank you so much for posting about the Savile Row repeat. I missed that series first time around as I believe it was on BBC 4, which I dont have access to. The British Style Genius programme was great tonight, so much better than watching girls dashing around Topshop. Why does Oswald Boateng have t...

Fred Astaire's belt
Hi all, I bought the Fred Astaire Style book recently & got to look through it last night. Could someone please explain to me why Fred Astaire was still wearing a scarf around his waist in his 80s. It looks great but I am wondering if a belt and belt loops make a pair of trousers look ugly? Or perha...

This link might help explain why couture is so expensive. It's dreadfully expensive for a dress that only get worn once or twice, but that's the whole point really, the exclusivity http://www.fashion-era.com/Vintage_fashion/5_vintage_textile_couture.htm here's a link to the Spring/Summer '08 couture...

I was shocked at first when I saw the picture. It's been so long since I've seen a woman look that smart. Such a lovely change to the trashy clothes women have had to contend with over the last few years. Here's a link to a picture of the grey coat on Vogue. http://www.vogue.co.uk/vogue_daily/story/...
