I had a blazer from John Davis last year. I'd recommend his workmanship highly. This year I'll be commisioning him for a 2PC suit, when I get round to it I'll post some photos.

And there are/were some DB military tunics that ended at the waist which had a keystone button pattern.. I th...

I'm wondering if it would be possible for the tailor shorten the sleeves, from the sleeve heads rather than the cuffs.

In addition to Lewin, you might want to also check Hilditch and Key and Coles Shirts, especially during their sales. I have my shirts made at Coles and am very pleased with the results. I've also bought ready made shirts from their sister company Jermyn shirts who seem to have a permanent sale, as ...

Most mannequins I know have neither beer gut nor wedding band. Must be getting more realistic all the time... Sorry, I should have mentioned my poor eyesight. looking straight at the picture I only see the horizontal stripes of the check pattern for instance. I have to tilt my head to see the verti...

I may be wrong, but look at the skin tone, it definately looks like plastic to me.

These details emphasize his narrow shoulders which makes his head look big. I remember reading that Carry Grant's collar size was particularly big, so Kilgo...

Has anybody got an opinion on John Davis of Tobias-Davis Savile Row? I'm considering having a suit made by him. My concern is, will he cut my arm sythes properly so the shoulders behave themselves when I move?
