heavy velvety corduroy

Gentlemen, I am very interested in acquiring some heavy velvety corduroy (with quite wide wales) for trousers but have no idea where to start searching. Gentlemen,

After a discussion with some friends I was left wondering where the highest quality shirt collar interlining is made today? Is it still in Germany?

Cheers

impression (negative)

Gentlemen,
I have posted this in the style forum as well (LL was down) as it made quite an impression on me. My wife says the going price for couture gowns is approximately that (and believes this is even a bargain)!! Is this really the case?

Thanks

its funny though..because most tailors from what i know use linen canvas in the upper collar and the wollen/horsehair canvas in the lapel (and main body)..i guess alternatives apply for the jewish customers.

Linen canvas Vs Wool canvas

Hello.
Some tailors use linen canvases whereas others use wool canvases. Is there a difference in strength between the two?
Is the wool canvas used for winter garments or does season have nothing to do with it?
Which do you guys prefer to use?
Thanks.
