Re: London & Paris recommendations
They appear to be operating online, or at least they are responding to emails. It is a shame the store is gone. I hope they are able to continue in some form.

Re: "It's all in your head"
Looks spectacular! I'll be curious to see how the new LL flannel differs from the earlier LL Flannel, which is fabulous. If you ever make that pattern again, count me in.

Re: "It's all in your head"
Yes, great news! I must have missed the discussion about a new source for flannel. Any chance there will be more options, maybe something part of the evergreen list?

Re: "It's all in your head"
A new LL Flannel is exciting. I'll be interested to learn more about it and how it compared with the wonderful, previous LL Flannels.

Re: 2019 shirtmaker recommendations.
Does anyone have good suggestions for Rome? I had one shirtmaker there but they folded, so I'm looking for another.

Re: Brooklyn Bespoke
I always learn something from your posts. "Used Bentley salesmen " is perfect. I assume they have some people who have deeper knowledge and some who do fine work, but it was not the focus certainly. Sometimes I feel that customers need to be better educated, more demanding about what really matters,...

Re: Brooklyn Bespoke
If the demand for authentic work really is growing, it's a pity that so few remain who can actually deliver it. Your comments, Frank, on the work in the story were very interesting. It's instructive to learn what you see. I received a link to a video (an ad really) from Gaziano and Girling but it ha...

I have heard Edwin DeBoise speak of him often. Maybe he would share a comment or two.

Great looking suit. I'll have to have another look at Bateman & Ogden. Many thanks.

Re: Mohair.
ay329, I have one pair of odd trousers in lightweight mohair blend. They are wonderful for summer, very light yet crisp. I have two suits with 30% mohair blend, and they have great structure for relatively lightweight fabrics (8 oz. and 11/12 oz.). In general, my preference is for heavier fabric, bu...

Dr. T, I prefer heavier cloth too. What bunches do you prefer for heavier mohair blends?

Re: Groves & Lindley
I have one suit in Groves & Lindley mid-grey pick and pick, 13 ounces I believe. It was recommended by Edwin DeBoise, and I've been very pleased with it.
