Re: Prince of Wales check tie with a soft hand
A little late of a reply, but Will at A Suitable Wardrobe has a couple POW ties and Shepherd's check ties in cashmere and lamb's wool. They look buttery soft.

Re: Adolphe Menjou
Observe the picture wherein Mr. Menjou is donning the Native American headdress... Though his hands are at his ears and his elbow are pointing directly forward, his superbly-cut DB doesn't move. Bravo!

Hanna Hats has been great, in my experience, and will use customer-provided cloth on request.

I wanted to post on The Lounge to express my admiration for an exemplary customer service experience. The website is easy to use, and the pictures are great. The clincher, however, was wh...

Duncan Quinn
I recently perused the Duncan Quinn website. He offers both ready-to-wear and bespoke tailoring. It all seems quite flash, though. Does anyone have any experience with him?

Mine was ordered from Dion Neckwear here in Canada. It's a one-piece, sized satin in a butterfly shape.

Re: Style gremlins
I agree with radicaldog above, in that being in my mid- to late-20s, dressing with any sense of classic style inevitably leads to the question of "Why are you all dressed up?", especially in ultra-casual Canada. In addition, I have found myself with an over-abundance of "event" pieces, and not enoug...

Just like to pipe up...
Bogey in Casablanca!
Also, I just watched "Into the Storm", an HBO film about Winston Churchill during the Second World War. Great period pieces, with his dinner suit deserving special mention.
