The best I've had is probably Tanqueray. If you're on a budget and must go for American gins, Fleischmann's and Seagram's are the two primary choices. Unfortunately, they're only about 80 proof each. When you compare them with something like Plymouth Navy Strength (57% alc., I think), the difference...

They appear a bit duck-billed to me, but that could certainly be the picture. The broguing is great.

He does...not sure about shirts. Anyone know? I have heard very negative things about working with him, though. (From 3 different people.) I know for a fact he does "custom" shirts. Whether they are MTM or true bespoke, I'm not sure. I have also heard some negative things about Edgar. You may want ...

Great post as usual, Etutee. Do you happen to have a large collection of AA issues or are these scanned in from a library/private owner's collection?

I purchased this one on eBay (retail Rubinacci is far too rich for my budget :( ). I don't usually go for bolder geometrics, but...this tie "spoke" to me.

In my experience, the ties aren't all that great. If you can get one for under $50, it's probably a good deal, but anyth...

Good suggestions so far. For starters, Crockett & Jones (benchgrade line) are a nice buy. www.pediwear.co.uk has great pricing.

14 x 14 is a nice size for pocket squares, although hard to find in RTW offerings. I've heard some say 7 x 7 which doesn't seem right. :?

Sometimes when standing, sometimes not. If I'm around family and friends I will generally go unbuttoned.
