Most elegant outfit, Federico. Wonderful lapel roll. Beautiful homburg. They all suit you exceedingly well.
Cheers

Re: Craft, art and the pursuit of style
Fellow Loungers, if I may intrude into this conversation, is it possible to differentiate a fop from a fool, or they're essentially the same? And, if I understood it correctly, the sentence is that whom is fortunate enough to exude style does not need, or can even dismiss, expensive and/or exquisite...

Re: Sastrería Cheverny - Buenos Aires?
A very good friend, well versed in Italian tailoring, tells me there are still good shirtmakers in Buenos Aires. Carazo, at Marcelo T. de Alvear 847, is a very good one -- so he tells me. I´ve seen their work and liked it.
Unfortunately, Cheverny is no more. Closed.

Re: Cary Grant's suit design
Are these gorges lower than present day models? A question for more wise members, what would be the difference between a higher gorge and a lower one, such as these worn by Cary Grant?

Re: Worsteds with surface interest
Concordia,
I´ve got 5,50m of the dark charcoal you´ve just mentioned. I plan to have it made later this year. I hope my tailor in Rio is able to stretch those 5.5 into two suits (SB and a DB), but I´m losing hope there would be enough cloth...

Re: Worsteds with surface interest
Dear Michael, I remember your video with Mr. Graham on the whole fleece cloth, about 5 years ago. That was one the most beautiful mid-gray worsteds I´ve seen. Could not get it in time... got 5.5m of the dark grey, which is also an incredible cloth. Do you know if there are any leftovers of that wond...

Dear Michael,
Is the lovat-green flannel on page 134 a feasible prospect for the CC? That is something exquisite not seen at all these days -- at least by myself.
Best,
Luis

If my recollection is correct, that picture comes from the possibly now-extinct Brookster website, doesn´t it?

Nice Prince jacket. I like the soft shoulder with subtle rolinos and especially the breast patch pocket, very well done.

Tempo is a little bit sluggish for my taste, but Richter is Richter.
