I must echo all the above comments.
Beautiful jacket and beautifully worn.
It looks perfectly made and I particularly like the buttoning and the choice of tan buttons.
Enjoy!

Re: Anthony Eden
Melcomb. Antony Eden was indeed a well dressed and vain man who obviously took great care in his appearance. A. N. Wilson has said of him ' The only Prime minister who wore nail varnish' His poor decision making which you mention is considered by some to be due to his use of Benzadrine which had bee...

Re: Chinos with non-squeeze bottom ends
Luca your reply interests me. I like Cordings moleskins and wear them all winter. Thinking that their summer wear would be similar, I have been trying to buy some Chinos or Drill from them, but have more or less given up. They have a quite high price, which upon checkout they charge tax? Living as I...

Re: Anyone KNOWS about T&A cashmere quality ?
Well done Andreyb,
I had been coveting the Camel collared cardigan on Drakes site for ages but couldn't bring myself to spend £350.
Last spring I saw he same in Berk ( made by Lockie) and @ £250 I bought it.
Now you have come up with the same again @£175
It pays to shop around....well done!

Re: Shorter scarves (where to find one?)
Well done Rob,
Thats the sort of thing.
Mine is quite a lot shorter and therefore less bulky.
The first Brora I had was about 2 ft., bit like a cravat.

Re: Shorter scarves (where to find one?)
I wear a Brora cashmere scarf most of the time this weather; even cravat style under an open necked shirt. Like a polo neck jumper it is very difficult to take off once you have begun to use it. The scarf is about 4ft. long X 7inches wide, but is quite skinny and not too bulky. Brora seem to have to...

Re: Where to buy a hat
Morning MRJ,
Sorry about the reason for your need to wear a hat, but nevertheless you will cut a dash.
I do hope it all works out for you.
Try Locks hatters, also in a smaller way but equally good are Bates hats. Both do mail order, you just need to know your head size.
Best of luck.

Re: First foray into tailored clothing
Very well done BAO, You have certainly jumped in at the deep end, which is very brave of you. The usual advice given when looking for a new tailor is to get something made; get the fit etc. perfected, and when thats all sorted and you are happy, go again. I am sure these will all be perfect for you,...

I Have been looking for information on Seville through the eyes of this forum, and this seems to be the nearest.
I am planning to visit here for a few days. Is there anything of sartorial interest in Seville that should not be missed?

Re: Casual, not denim
I wear Cordings moleskins most of the time. Perfect for me. I have not tried their summer trousers but am anxious to do so .If they are equal to the winter version I will like them. Seem to be a good selection of colours etc. The main problem with men used to wearing jeans etc. is the difficulty in ...
