Gentlemen,
What about your shoes? The seven pairs mentioned by mr Alden is imho an absolute minimum.

Berluti
Gentlemen,
It is my feeling that this once famous shoemaker went commercial after been taken over by LVMH. Do you share my feeling? Had anyone a recent experience with Berluti?
Cordialemente,

New Shoe Project
Gentlemen,
I have been away for a while; being back I miss the shoe projects we did in recent years. I remember G&G spectators and Carmina cordovans. No one interested anymore?
Kind regards,
Paul
PS: and what about a new club tie? The one from Chavet will be gone by now ...

BTW: La Cordonnerie Anglaise
LCA is exactly the same product as Saphir MO - which is the best I am aware of.

Re: The Redcoats aren't coming!
Dear Michael.
First of all - on this first day of a New Year, I wish you a healthy 2010.
And yes, you can book me in for the length of a blazer in burgundy.

Re: Amsterdam - any recommendations?
L.S., Though you'll be probably back again, I would advise Sir Max at Hartenstraat 2, Amsterdam: small shop beautiful shoes (http://www.sirmax.nl also in English) and the P.C. Hooftstraat with many shops including Oger: perhaps a bit vulgar but with very fine clothing nevertheless (http://www.en.oge...

Re: First look at the completed LL Polo Coat
Dear Michael, First of all: thanks for your efforts (again): they really make sure that the LL stands out by far. Of course I am interested (again). I would be much more so, if your tailor could make the coat as well: it is not easy to find an adequate tailor in the rural parts of the Netherlands or...

Cordings
You will not be disappointed by the moleskins from Cordings: I've wearing them for years and they look like new: areal bargain. BTW: I have them dry-celeaned.
