Having recently arrived to my destination without luggage (thanks once again, Austrian Airlines), I had to purchase some emergency toiletries and decided to try the new Fusion with five blades for fun. And now I must admit that it gave a great shave. Considerably better than with the Mach 3s I've be...

I'm a convert after receiving a pair of Acqua Di Parma yellow leather slippers as a present. I now wear them almost every day at home. And while they do have a closed back, one can just step and collapse the back part to make them backless. You can get them apparently at the main Douglas on Kaertner...

@costi: And yes a loden suit is accepted as a formal wear in the evening also here in Austria. If someone gets a invitation there is sometimes as dress code: Formal wear or Trachtenanzug. And many Austrians wear it....in some regions of Austria more (Styria,Upper Austria,Salzburg;Tyrol) Not so much...

I look forward to seeing the photos. Having just drooled over some of Vass' RTW samples at my favorite Viennese shoestore (http://www.schuhmann.co.at/), I can't wait to see what the bespoke ones look like.

Just picked up three nice, yet very plain, Zegna belts in black and brown from a D.C. Filene's Basement ... $50/each. Good quality for the money.

I do believe Regent is MTM - not a full bespoke.

I'm slowly getting slightly better with my Austrian ... not to be confused with German, of course.

And depending on where you go, this still applies, even nowadays. Of course, the local Italian restauranteurs also excel in giving you titles based on how good of a regular customer you are. I'm perfectly happy with the titles I've gained along the years ... but am not happy with the kilos.
