Re: Should the London Lounge be on Facebook?

I believe that some of the articles and discussions on this forum are very interesting.

A selection of them could easily be introduced on facebook. By doing that, they would also reach a wider audience.

How warm is flannel?

Gentlemen I am planning to make a sport jacket in flannel. I have found some wonderful glen check patterns from Fox flannels mid weight and classic english flannel bunches. My question is: How warm is flannel compared to other cloth? Can the 10/11 ounce midweight flannel be used all year round? And ...

Yes it should.

Several good sites and blogs, like "A suitable wardrobe" and "Permanent Style" are already there.

Re: Spanish bespoke tailor

Muy lindo, che... (lived in Argentina during the nineties)

I really enjoyed your article, who depth describes an artisan and his work. I also liked the part comparing English, Italian and Spanish bespoke.

Keep up with the good work!

Oertel umbrellas

I am not an expert, but I am planning to buy an umbrella from this site myself. They seem to have high quality umbrellas, but to a relatively low price.

paul smith bespoke?

That Paul Smith does bespoke was news to me. I tried to look at the link, but there was no information behind it.

His suits doesn`t interest me either.

I like the smaller things, like scarves, socks, etc. Paul Smith also has some nice cufflinks.

I've followed a similar path, going from RTW to MTM to bespoke. I'm not sure you can justify expensive bespoke on the grounds that it is more cost-effective in the long term. No matter how many more years a bespoke suit might last you, it is still thousands of dollars. For me, the real value of bes...

Buenos Aires revisited

Thank you, RWS, for a very nice description of Buenos Aires. I have been to Bs As severeal times, my first visit was in 1989, my last one this winter. However, I have never had time to visit any bespoke tailors. Buenos Aires is a very european city with a cosmopolitan flavour. This winter, I only st...

Sir Paul Smith

This may not be the right forum ,but anyway, I would like to know your opinions about Paul Smith. I like bespoke clothing, but if we speak about off the rack clothing, I am really fond of Paul Smith: I like his clothes, sunglasses, accesories, etc Here is a short you tube film with an interview wth ...
