Re: Anderson & Sheppard

For the past five years they have made me a few suits each year.
Mr. Hitchcock has given me good advice, great service and clothes I love.
They are what they are, a large SR house with certain style and their way of doing things.
I am a happy client.

Re: silk shirts

I have not had a silk shirt for a long time. I used to wear them regularly both with jacket and tie and as sport shirts. I guess my shirts were not of any superior quality and when I started buying linen sportshirts I prefered them to silk. It might be interesting to try a bespoke silk shirt to find...

The LL Linen

I am going to visit my tailor at A&S next week. A couple of suits should be ready for me to take home. I have been thinking of asking them to make me a linen suit from the LL linen that was made about two years ago. Has anyone of you gentlemen used this cloth for a suit? If so, I would very much app...

Re: New book on A&S

I received two books about bespoke firms last week.
The A&S, A Style is Born and the Rubinacci book.
I must say that I enjoyed the A&S book very much and rate it highly.
But as an A&S customer I am biased.

Restaurants in Jerusalem and TelAviv

Gentlemen

Do you know good restaurants in Jerusalem and TelAviv? It does not matter what style or ethnic cooking is on offer.
I am just looking for food of high quality. So if anyone has suggestion I would appreciate it very much.

Best regards,

I believe the morning suit he was wearing at his wedding was made by A&S.

.I went in to Bates yesterday to buy a new cap. The gentleman that I spoke to said that they had been to see the plans for the development and he thought that it would get permission. So by September Bates would be gone. I asked if they would relocate the store but he said they thought Jermyn street...

Jermyn street would not be the same if Bates would go. I have bought two hats from them and have especially enjoyed their personal service. The hats are great too. I would miss them very much.

I became a customer of Sean earlier this year. He has made me about ten shirts. I used to have my shirts made at T&A. What I prefer with Sean is the direct contact with the person who actually cuts the shirts. It took a little time to get things right with the fit and cut of my collars but Sean was ...
