Hectorm, as person born and educated in Naples I can confirm that in the neapolitan languange the term ´´ pizzella ´´just indicates the '´ pizza fritta ´´ whose size is smaller than that of baked pizza. Angelo

Levantine, unfortunately following the suggestions of a friend, I tried last year Sabatini in Rome. The results were a full disaster;despite my advices and three fittings none of the six commissioned shirts fulfilled my expectations. Really not worth trying.

As far as chambray, Simmonot Godard offers this fabric in a wide range of beautiful colors including in addition to several shades of blue also pink, salmon, lemmon yellow and light green.

Oscarsfan, although I have no direct evidence, I believe that the Knize dinner jacket was not part of a dinner suit and consequently did not have trousers of the same fabric, but more likely as a "pure" DJ was associated to black evening trousers that could have had or not a side seam black silk ban...

At least in the 1950s Eden ' s tailor was Welsh & Jefferies who made also some suits for Sir Winston Churchill. I do not know whether Welsh & Jefferies have made suits for Eden also in the previous decades. Angelo
