Re: Active Cigar Humidifiers

Michael, Did you mean don't buy the Humidor or the Electronics? I already have a 150 and a 300 humidor in separate locations.. neither nice to look at so need replacing. I don't want to go for a coolerdor route... The humidor is already a given, it's the best way to humidify it i am questioning, Eit...

Does anyone have any experience of either Cigar oasis XL+ or Cigar spa devices?? Very mixed reviews on line... loved and trusted or faulty and unreliable. It' will be used in a Adorini Bari Deluxe http://www.cgarsltd.co.uk/adorini-bari-cabinet-humidor-cigars-capacity-p-10993.html It will probably be...

you could try Des Merrion.
I have a quite a few suits, odd jackets and trousers off him and am more than happy.

He will also help you decide what you want and advise if you're unsure.

Hi Des...

That coat looks fantastic, beautiful shoulders (jacket not you)

I too prefer a clean back and as you say the very high armholes don't restrict movement at all. As neither of us are racing snakes it does give a more "athletic" appearance.

Hi, I am the guy in pics.

The jackets that Des has made for me are very comfortable, with no restriction of movement.
Because i am quite short, reasonably broad at the shoulders and far from skinny, it gives what i think is a great silhouette.

And thank you all for your kind comments.

Have you considered Desmond Merrion? (http://www.desmerrionbespoketailor.com/) According to his blog he's making a trip to London very soon but he does travel all over the place. I can't comment about the other tailors you mentioned but I've had a number of things from Des, his work is second to non...

quick sauces....

Following Manton's exellent piece on faux demi-glace i thought it might be a good follow up for people to tell what fantastic sauces we can turn it into...i know there are plenty of books on the subject, but i'm talking more of great sauces we can whip up at the last minute to pep up an otherwise re...
