I wear only navy Bresciani linen socks.
How long they last seems to be very dependent on how they are washed.
Gammarelli are pretty good too.
I could be wrong but I do not believe 100% natural fabrics will last as long as synthetic blends.

Re: Prince Philip
An absolutely despicable person who should not be worshipped no matter what he wore. This kind of statement says more about the writer than the person he is talking about. De mortise nil nisi bene. Cheers, David Why should a man who utterly despised humanity be immortalized because of clothing(that...

Has the tailoring scene improved there? When I was there a few years ago it was really hard to find someone, everyone seemed to go to trend.

Don't fall into neo-luddism. Tailoring is getting better than ever.
Many people seem to exhibit a neo-Luddite pessimism by claiming that nobody appreciates 'old world craft' and that when the old 'masters' die everything will fall apart and we will be walking around in pillow sheets. This is a load of crap. The reality is that the old world, absolutely SUCKED. If yo...

Re: Crisis on Savile Row: can British tailoring survive the impact of Covid-19?
Britains 'free market' landlord, drug dealing and usury economy continues its destructive course. In due time all that there will be left will be glass towers standing in london with the idiots in them unable to even feed themselves.

Re: Crisis on Savile Row: can British tailoring survive the impact of Covid-19?
London decided it would become the premier usury/rentier city in the world where skyhigh rents and interest payments fill the coffers of the elite. They completely did not care that this model destroys actual industry and is overly reliant on foreigners especially criminals who loot countries for th...

Re: Budd Shirts made in India!
My reaction to the news: shock. Another bastion fell. For a company that extols virtues of UK manufacturing and have boatloads of posts on their UK factory this is a cumbersome motion (to put it mildly). Andrey The UK has been one of the leading purveyors of globalism in the world. The UK stopped c...

2019 shirtmaker recommendations.
Hello.
Can anyone vouch for THE shirtmaker to settle with once and for all, preferably located in europe. I am thinking to just go with kiton but don’t want to pay for all the overhead in a commercial operation. Any small time makers recommended?
