I wonder if "slip knots", if that is the proper term, is necessarily a sign of better quality construction? I have rarely seen these threads which one can gently pull to straighten out a bunched tie. This is my best attempt at illustrating the Talbott seven-fold pattern, which is my favorite execution. I cannot say the same for the silk itself.
