Thanks for the responses so far. They are very helpful. As an aside, would single-breasted jackets from Savile Row and Naples have the same silhouette features with the obvious exception of the button stances?

To my (very) uneducated eye, there appear to be far more similarities than differences between those two jackets. Could a more experienced member point out some of the more salient silhouette differences? While there have been the occasional discussions on silhouette, I think the accompanying photo ...

Why are the stiffer bristles more appropriate for trousers than jackets? If the material is the same on both, I would think the same stiffness of bristle would be appropriate for both.

I've purchased several pair of EGs on sale at Saks. I don't know how often they're put on sale there, though.

EGs have been put on sale at the Ralph Lauren store on Madison Ave 2 or 3 times in the last 18 months.
