For the last sports coats, I just went for one cuff button, same size as the other buttons.

As the Esquire 30 does not seem to generate much interest (sadly), I would be more than in for this one! That is stunning

Re: Bespoke Black and White Houndstooth Sportcoat
Wouldn't a brown and cream/tan houndstooth tweed be something to add to the fall 2018 discussion?

Re: Bespoke Loden?
Thanks, Martin. I know that my trouser makers are doing the trousers for them (just as they do for Max Dietl in Munich). I don`t know if that are good news since Dietl is very pricey  , kind of a German Huntsman in that regard  I get my trousers directly from them, hence I am paying mu...

Dear Richard,
No, I do not have any personal experience with them. I know that my trouser makers are doing the trousers for them (just as they do for Max Dietl in Munich). But they (Winkler) are very renowned for tailored Trachten.
Kind regards
Martin

The best ties I own, however, come from Singapore (http://vandafineclothing.com/), who also make scarves: https://shop.vandafineclothing.com/collections/pocket-squares-scarves The most beautifully hand rolled edges I have see...

Re: Building a wardrobe
In my view, a plain grey jacket is rather difficult to combine... Have a look at http://thelondonlounge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8591 and browse the tweeds that have been made in the past. Almost every one of them would make a perfect SC, just depending on your personal taste. Some of the cloth...
