I would ask your tailor to slighlty lower the flapped pockets and ticket pocket an inch or so, they are a little high.

Lowering the pockets will make a big difference to the overall balanced look.

All the best

You should NOT get multiple errors with genuine bespoke, the odd one and slight tweaks yes, but big alterations..no I am sorry to say that I am becoming absolutely mercenary with my opinions on the many so called 'bespoke tailors' that are around, these people are nothing less than a plague to my ha...

Variations and examples of draped coats and/or sacks that this American wears (and I assure you, even a gentleman as burly as Mr. Merrion would fail to pull eight inches of excess out of any). The photographs show examples of some of the attributes discussed in this thread. Soft-tailored, draped ja...

Des: Is your "long lapel" defined by the height of the gorge, a lower button stance, or some other factor? Like you, though I am much smaller, I have very broad shoulders that are not very sloping, so I'm very intrigued by your aesthetic. Separately, how can a tailor be in dire need of a new suit? ...

Here are a few of pictures of a shooting coat I finished a couple of weeks back. This coat will be used for shooting, it is not for show. The cloth is a Porter and Harding thornproof, the canvas inside is very firm, I have made the chest very defined for my client with a strong lapel roll. The front...

That coat looks fantastic, beautiful shoulders (jacket not you)

I too prefer a clean back and as you say the very high armholes don't restrict movement at all. As neither of us are racing snakes it does give a more "athletic" appearance.

I hope that the rest of the year is less disruptive. Why did you move your business back home?
The break up of Graham and Merrion, Graham owned the building I was working from, the sensible thing was to make a complete break.
