Will you let us know what you find out? Samuelsohn MTM is an option here in Atlanta and I'd love to know if H&S cloth is available.

My general purpose travel shoe is the EG Kibworth in dark oak. It is fine for casual wear and if I am travelling to Europe I can get away with it with a non-pinstriped suit. I don't feel entirely comfortable but don't seem to draw inadvertent attention. Are the Kibworth the ones with the gussets? Y...

Storing wool cloth

What is the best way to store cloth that has not yet been used?

It will most likely be a while before I have anything made up again but I would like to take advantage of some of the unique LL cloth offerings.

I guess I'm lucky that I'm cold natured. I've been wearing an 18oz tweed around ATL constantly for a month now. well not to add anything to your nature but have you considered Harrisons Moonbeam range 320g Lambswool or even P&H's Glorious 12 which is not really tweed but the have some great designs...

I had a pair of my shoes mirror polished this past weekend. I didn't like it.

I really like these luk cha.

As speedster noted they are just different enough to look unique but avoid looking garish or flamboyant.

Good call on the color too. I agree that these needed to be black.

Tweed year round?

I know there are no rules anymore, but just for kicks: What do you guys think of wearing tweed year round? There was a gorgeous 10oz Holland and Sherry tweed swatch I saw a few months ago that I would love to have made into an odd jacket. I've also been thinking about a 10oz tweed gun club pattern a...

My own polishing techniques probably are unnecessarily complicated, as a West Pointer of "the old Army" -- my father -- taught them to me; so I'll respect the doubtless simpler and probably no less effective instructions of other Loungers. (I will say, however, that even my good mass-made shoes gen...
