José María Reillo, President of the Club de Sastres de España
I agree, Mr Zapatero does not feel confortable in a suit. I guess he started to wear them quite recently.

Re: Briatore's Wedding
Hola a todos, Nowadays no one seems to know what elegance is or should be and everything looks to be permitted. In my view, that morning suit is not the right one. I don’t see the point of so much black. Another thing I cannot understand is the slippers with their names on them. I do not like slippe...

Re: London clubs
I am considering joining a private members club in London. Primarily, I need somewhere to host and entertain clients and other contacts so my preference would be for an establishment with a decent chef, and which is not too pretentious (most of the newer clubs seems to be full of try-hards, intent ...

Re: Bespoke Watch Straps
A part from those three mentioned by Guille I would advise you to pay a visit to Perodri, Wempe, Chocron, Martin and Iglesias Joyeros. We have an independent watch maker, Pedro Izquierdo, and his machines are getting quite popular in Spain (he works with ETA movements but he does some altarations to...

A few years ago I visited a tailor in Madrid whose work looked quite promising: Sastreria Manuel Calva de Mora Claudio Coello 113 Madrid 91 576 59 31 You might stop by a take a look. They also made custom shirts. Michael I am quite familiar with that street but I do not know that shop. Sure, I will...

Re: Bespoke shirts - advice needed
I have never gone for bespoke shirts but i normally buy from Hilditch&Key on its webpage (I live in Spain) and their shirts are quite nice and the final result is more than acceptable. If you want to save some money then go for Hawes. Its work is no that good but its full cutaway is marvellous.

Any good and affordable tailor in Madrid?
Hello everyone. Does anyone know a good tailor in Madrid? The most well-known are probably Larrainzar and Gallo but their prices are too high. I have nice suits cut by cheap tailors but because their prices are quite competitive you must wait at least three months to wear you new suit and I must say...

Hi everyone
Hello everyone. I am a new Spanish member of this wonderful page and I hope to spend much of my spare time chating wit you. Juan Carlos´s tailor is Mr. Jaime Gallo. Gallo and Larrainzar are the most wellknow Spanish tailors. I must say Juan Carlos is quite a smart guy but his son is not in his way. ...
