Re: E & G Cappelli, Naples

Nice ties Terry, I especially like the wools. Patrizio is a nice fella. Did you happen to see his selection of cotton / wool and silk / wool blends? Incredible selection.

Looks like Formosa is on the world wide web, I like the website.

Re: Experience with Norton & Sons

Three heavy hitters all under one roof in spitting distance of the Row, that's fantastic.

Journalist and dandy Nick Foulkes uses Mr. Haste and has commented frequently on the quality of his work.

Re: Photos of recently commissioned Rubinacci suit

My trip to Naples only lasted three days and two nights, and it was wonderful. It was an excusrsion from a longer stay in Rome. When I told Chiara Rubinacci that I was thinking of traveling to Naples, she said that her father would arrange everything. And he did. He arranged the hotel reservations....

http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd376/wcp45/5c76dbf7.jpg next visit to Rubinacci? Nice to see your experience, thank you for sharing. Your posture must be different at home and in front of the camera than at fittings, as seen by the collar of the sportcoat rising off your neck and the rippling ...

Re: Photos of recently commissioned Rubinacci suit

Looks like you had a good time - your in good hands with both of those tailoring houses. I would say that the garment from Rubinacci, especially the pants, fit you very well. I would have probably used a heavier fabric for the 3-piece but it looks like the suit can be worn comfortably without the v...

Re: The more you know...

This thread makes me understand why bespoke has become such a dinosaur. Techocrats combine one off pictures and wild assumptions to develop a hypothesis that is a far stretch from reality.
