That's style! I like the bold use of colour too. I wouldn't know how to use those trousers, but now I see it can be done.

Costi, that looks splendid! Did you have the Windsor shirt on?

Bold statement for a bold colour, Gruto, thank you!
Signorlaine, the "Windsor tribute" is limited to the jacket only :) The Windsor shirt has not yet been worn, I'll report on it when it happens.

Costi , this is very very nice , I've seen the photos three times already and I will see them again whe I finish writting ..they do good to my eyes ! This is one of the best stylish moments I have seen displayed by a LL member .
As Michael said , it sets a very high standard on the derby ...

As pretty much everything I was about to write has already been posted by other admirers, I don't want to bore us with repitions and will simply say that this is one of the better examples of individual style I have ever seen in a photo on the internet.

Thank you, Vassilis! You should ask Michael what kind of glasses he uses to look at bright tweeds :D http://dresswithstyle.com/2010/03/22/mens-style-be-bright/
S. Gillette, I won't bore us with the repetition of thanks, but I do appreciate your compliments.

Beautifully cut jacket, and it is a wonderful outfit. The colours of this fabric are very versatile, and go very nicely with the gold trousers. Well done!

This starter in the Derby is by Hongkong Sifoo, out of Lovat Loom. Foaled in Kowloon and now trained in Tbilisi, Georgia. Track record amongst a seasoned field of greys and blacks on home turf distinctive, if not distinguished.

I wanted a very casual look with the jacket, with single cuff buttons, patch pockets with flaps and a swelled edge. It is paired with Harris Tweed trousers, made from undyed wool in a herringbone pattern.

Excellent, Simon! Now this is starting to look like a derby - of great jackets, stylish men and nice places! :)
The cloth takes your casual approach very well. And it's ready just in time for some wear before it gets too hot.

Simon,

Well done. That is a great looking coat. Tell us a bit where you are, the place looks very interesting.
The light herringbone trousers are also very handsome. Yes, Costi, another superb entry to the Derby.

Cheers
